Menswear FW26 is opening in Florence and accelerating into Milan. FW26 shaping up as a modern study in Italian sartorial codes.
Florence set the tone with “Motion”: a clear signal that the new season is about smarter movement. Ease engineered into tailoring. Performance thinking added into tradition. Silhouettes are designed to travel through real life.
Milan takes that premise and sharpens it. The catwalks are redefining heritage through everyday lifestyle. Craft and proportion still lead, but the wardrobe is designed for how men actually move, layer, commute, and live.

FABRICS: A tactile winter selection built on heritage weight with modern capability. Blends of artisan textiles with technically advanced and adaptive performance materials. Tweeds or structured wools are key fabrics. They are styled with brushed cottons, and brushed suedes for depth. Adaptive performance materials and technical hybrids are the new edition to keep the wardrobe agile.
COLORS: Disciplined neutrals dominate the looks. Charcoal, navy, beige, black are the key colors. Neutrals lifted by controlled injections of deep burgundy, pale wine, olive, and muted jewel tones to shift monochrome looks.
FORMS: Wide and soft are the key words. Long-length jackets, gentler shoulders, double-breasted and belted blazers, and wide trousers with a soft taper. Structured pieces are styled with relaxed elements to land in that new “formal, but lived-in” zone.
DETAILS: The season codes through heritage sport and utility; oversized lapels, extended cuffs and hems, and closures that feel functional, understated, and sport-core. Alpine references come through in a city-ready way: quilted constructions, performance textiles, and hybrid knits that nod to mountain dressing.
ACCESSORIES: Hats emerge as the key accessory, wrapping the look and the style code. Focus is on soft fabrics and shapes. Hats add more of an attitude.
